This recognition has officially been announced by the California Department of Education on February 10, 2022
EPHS and Firebaugh Adult School are both accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools/Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS/WASC). This accreditation is a significant milestone in the history of these two diploma-granting institutions. El Puente High School received its full 6-year re-accreditation in June, 2021. Firebaugh-Las Deltas Adult School received its full WASC 6-year re-accreditation in February, 2022.
Students returned to in-person instruction in the fall of 2021, but due to the continued infection rate and new Delta and Omicron variants of the virus, some revised guidelines are now in place regarding symptoms, illness, and exposure. Confidential behavioral health and substance abuse counseling is now available to all FLDUSD students (including El Puente High School and Firebaugh Community Day School students) free of charge.

El Puente High School students can now take Advanced Placement courses, take AP exams, and take the SAT and PSAT exams.
FLDAS is now open for in-person instruction for ESL and High School Diploma courses.
