Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Firebaugh Adult School, Firebaugh Community Day School and El Puente High School—"The Bridge." Our mission is built directly into our name: to provide a powerful, supportive bridge for students seeking an accelerated and highly personalized pathway to academic success and future careers. We are a premier alternative program dedicated to helping students who need a specialized environment to get back on track and thrive.

 

A Focus on Personalized Success:
At FACE, we recognize that every student has a unique story and unique needs. We are designed to offer the opportunities and support often unavailable in a larger setting:
Accelerated Credit Recovery: The core of our program is our ability to help students quickly close credit gaps. Our Acellus-based, A-G approved online curriculum allows students to progress at an individualized pace. Since transitioning to this focused instructional model, our students have exhibited sustained success in regaining credits and mastering challenging content.

We provide small class sizes and prioritize frequent, dedicated one-on-one assistance from our caring staff of behavior and academic CTs . This limits distraction and allows for a focused, individualized review of academic progress and goals.
Highly Qualified Curriculum: All our core online courses are A-G approved by the University of California and aligned with the California Common Core State Standards for ELA and Mathematics, ensuring your student is prepared for college-level work. 

We believe that academic success is interwoven with personal growth and support.

Comprehensive Counseling: We offer enhanced availability of behavioral counseling services and regularly review Individualized Progress Plans as well as Individual Academic Plans. This plan monitors not just credits and grades, but also attendance, behavior, and career goals, creating a holistic roadmap for success.
Positive Behavior and Support: Our campus culture is built on the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) framework, We actively reinforce positive actions through regular recognition and praise, ensuring a safe, respectful, and motivating learning atmosphere.

Parent and guardian involvement is a critical component of the FACE experience.

To ensure the successful accomplishment of academic and behavioral goals, the parent, student, and school administrator meet periodically to review the student’s Academic Plan. This collaborative approach ensures everyone is aligned and invested in the student's journey.

Our ultimate goal is to launch our students toward their brightest futures.
