ESL Digital Literacy Course Returns!

ESL (English as a Second Language) Digital Literacy will once again become available at Firebaugh-Las Deltas Adult School. This course combines English literacy instruction with basic computer skills needed to navigate the Internet/Internet safety, send and receive emails, learn the basics of various Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, and lay the foundation for computer literacy skills that are necessary in a workplace environment.

This course was very popular prior to the pandemic, and is once again being offered in cooperation with West Hills Community College (WHCC). This course will be available in the evening sessions and will tie-in with Mr. Sergio Contreras' ESL course. The computer Literacy teacher is provided by WHCC.

The course is offered at the Firebaugh Alternative and Community Education (FACE) campus located at 1666 Saipan Avenue in Firebaugh and will be taught in Room 1. The class will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm and will continue every Monday and Wednesday for eight weeks.
